Pretty scary looks

Halloween is still a bit of a novelty holiday in Germany – even in our rather cosmopolitan neighborhood.  When the kids don their spooky masks to trick or treat a lot of the grumpy neighbours still find that very, very disturbing.  Our photographer Elisabeth Schirneck and her model Anne Giermann shared a similar experience when they prepared shooting the marvelous photos you can see on this page. Putting on the make-up and lighting the grave lamps in a local park, curious children watched them from start to finish … while elderly people walked by quickly, shaking their heads in disbelief.
